The ASEAN Community comprises three pillars, namely the ASEAN Political-Security Community, the ASEAN Economic Community and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community. Iran first announced on December 18 the reopening of all its border posts with Iraqi Kurdistan, without setting a specific date.
