CAPE TOWN Matthew Tkachuk Youth Jersey , March 12 (Xinhua) -- Unidentified gunmen fired upon a South African Air Force helicopter, which was on a patrol in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), authorities said on Saturday.
The shooting took place on Friday when the helicopter was conducting routine aerial patrols in the DRC, the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) said.
The fire came from a small firearm projectile on the ground. The helicopter was damaged James Neal Youth Jersey , but there was no injuries, according to the SANDF.
The helicopter was able to continue its flight and landed safely at the SANDF base in Goma in the DRC, it added.
